It is with great regret that we announce the passing of Irving Snyder, WA1ETG. Irving passed away yesterday evening shortly before 7PM. Irving was a familiar voice on the W1AEC repeater every evening at 7PM, participating in the Camel net. Irving was a gentleman and was always welcoming to anyone who joined the net. He will be missed.
John Carreiro, W1ZYV writes on the SEMARA mailing list that Arthur Valois, formerly W1UID has passed away:
A very long time member of our club has passed away. Though Art was on the quiet side, he was a very active and heroic WWII Army Air Core soldier. He flew many missions over Europe. He was mostly a nose gunner on B17’s and B24’s.

It is with deep regret and sadness to report the passing of long time SEMARA member, KD1DA, a dependable VE and very active in New Bedford Emergency Management. Chuck was a regular SEMARA meeting attendee and will be missed by all.
It is with deep regret and sadness to report the passing of long time SEMARA member, W1ATI. Norm was a regular on the nightly “Camel Net” on the club repeater. Norm was very active in club events over the years and will be missed.
