SEMARA Meetings

VISITORS ARE WELCOME AT ALL MEETINGS

Meetings and activities are always scheduled for the first three Thursdays of each month.  The fourth Thursday is reserved for special meetings on an "as needed" basis.  All meetings are held at the SEMARA clubhouse, 54 Donald Street, Dartmouth, MA.

  • The First Thursday of each month is business meeting night.  Many members start arriving as early as 5 p.m. to ragchew before the official business meeting starts at 7 p.m.

  • The Second Thursday of each month is ragchew night.  Foxhunts may occasionally be scheduled and start at 7 p.m. sharp.  Check the home page or latest Zero Beat for possible scheduled Foxhunts.

  • The Third Thursday is Tech-Talk night.  Speakers from within and outside of the club give presentations on subjects of interest to the members.  Not all Tech-Talk are strictly technical or radio related.  Tech-Talks start at 7 p.m.

  • The Fourth Thursday is ragchew night, 6 - 9 p.m.  The night is also used for Committee's, Board of Director's, and special meetings.  Most meetings or events start at 7 p.m., however, check the home page for actual start times of any meetings held on the fourth Thursday.

Members meet informally every Sunday morning from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. for free refreshments and ragchewing.  Members drop by the clubhouse as their Sunday schedule permits.  Some stay all morning, while others drop by for 20 minutes or so.  Quite often a member will show off his new radio "toy."  Some do minor work around the clubhouse.  Most, however, just sit around ragchewing and having a ball!
