Everyone
gathered in the Radio room shortly after 1300 UTC, 1:00
p.m. local time. Bob Kelley, K1KVV
prepared a script for the youngsters to help them with
calling CQ KIDS DAY and passing the required contact
information: NAME, AGE, TOWN they lived in and favorite
COLOR. Suggested topics for later rounds were: name
of SCHOOL, grade in school, BEST SUBJECT, HOBBIES, siblings
and anything else they wanted to talk about.

Kyle St. Onge was the
only one who wanted to take the mike. He answered a
CQ KIDS DAY from KC6SLA and
spoke with Connor. Later Brad Plissey wanted to try
it but the band conditions had deteriorated.
Kid’s Day Certificates
were given to commemorate the occasion. They left at
4 o’clock with a smile on their faces. We hope
they will come back for the next Kid’s Day on
June 16, 2007.
