Bruce I. Cartwright, WA1UGK

It is with deep regret we report the passing of SEMARA member Bruce I. Cartwright, WA1UGK.

I remember Bruce from back in the 70’s when he was very active in the club. At the time he was working at Friends Academy driving a school bus for them. I was working as a repairman for Sears and we use to talk on the 60/00 repeater as we went about or day. Life happens and we lost track of each other. But in August of 2022 I was pleased to see him once again at the monthly SEMARA meeting. Bruce was voted in as a life member on that evening. I will always remember him as a kind and generous person. Rest in peace my friend.  – Michael Ponte, W1BZJ
